Vladimir Kara-Murza sentenced to 25 years in prison for denouncing Russia's invasion of Ukraine

The verdict of the trial on April 17th sentenced Kara-Murza to 25 years imprisonment, the longest of any political prisoner. Kara-Murza's health has already greatly deteriorated in the detention centre where he was held for the past year, and he has lost 25kg and has numbness as a result of polyneuropathy from poisoning previously inflicted on him by the Russian Government
